7 Elements Spotlight Sessions

7 Elements are running a series of 3 spotlight sessions on topics we hope will be of use to you. Sessions will be free and held in conjunction with Napier University. We will run each session first thing in the morning to fit around your day and will include a presentation, Q&A and then networking over coffee.


So far we have the following sessions planned:

Pen Test Project Management: Back to Basics

In this session we will explore how to get the most out of your pen test engagements. Are they focused on the right things? Are you getting what you need, not what you want?

PCI DSS: Who's Managing Who?

In this session we will explore how to manage your relationship with your QSA. Taking lessons from real life experience, the session will consider the impact on your organisation's approach to security when led only by the QSA's agenda.

Pen Test Project Management: Getting the most from your test

Building on the first session, this time we will look at more complex engagements and how to scope engagements that balance cost with the level of assurance required.
